Sam Jameson
Sam Jameson joined IIPS as a visiting research fellow in April 1996. He was Tokyo Bureau Chief of the Chicago Tribune and later the Los Angeles Times from 1963 until early 1996. He is now a contributing correspondent to Asia Times. His research interests include Japanese politics, Japan-US relations, and Asia politics, economics, and security. E-mail.
Jun Osawa
Jun Osawa joined IIPS as a research fellow in April 1995. He received an M.A. degree in political science from Keio University. His research focuses on the relationship between states and markets, especially on the relationship between economic development and ethnic conflicts.
