Kazuhiko Fuji
Waseda University, Law Department. Joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 1984. Worked in the Industrial Policy Bureau, Trade Policy Bureau, Energy Policy Agency, and Small-business Policy Agency. From 2003, worked at the Cabinet Intelligence Agency. Seconded to IIPS in 2011.

Kyoko Ichikawa
Keio University (B.A. in Economics), University of Cambridge (M.Phil in Economics). Joined Economic Planning Agency, Government of Japan in 1993. Worked in the Policy Bureau, the Economic Planning Bureau, the Research Bureau, the Gender Equality Bureau. Also worked as Director of Public Relations Office. Seconded to IIPS in 2012.

Tomoaki Ide
University of Tokyo. Received Master and Bachelor degrees in Urban Engineering, specializing in Environmental Engineering, and specifically in Water Quality Control. Joined Dentsu Inc. in 1988. Worked as an account executive and consultant for clients in a variety of industries. Recently worked as Chief Researcher and Senior Manager at Dentsu Innovation Institute studying media company management and the relationship between advertising and the firmfs value. Seconded to IIPS in 2012.

Setsuko Kawahara (Visiting Fellow)
Hitotsubashi University, Faculty of Law, majored in international law. Joined in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1986. Worked in the Treaty Bureau, the Permanent Mission for Conference on Disarmament, Multilateral Cultural Cooperation Division, Permanent Mission for UNESCO, Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Relief Division. Seconded to IIPS in 2011.

Katsuyoshi Kokubun
Sofia University, Foreign Language and International Relations Department. Joined Nippon Steel Corporation in 1983. Worked as a Group Manager of Production Control Department, planning and Coordination Department, Chemical and Boiler Tube Sales Department. Seconded to IIPS in 2006.

Takashi Kobayashi
National Defense Academy, Department of Management. Joined Japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) in 1997. Received Master of Business Administration in Management from University of Tsukuba in 2002. Worked at School Demonstration Aviation, United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) Headquarters, 2nd Division Headquarters, and Personnel Department, Ground Staff Office. Seconded to IIPS in 2012.
