University of Tokyo, Law Department. Joined the Economic Planning Agency in 1990. Received Ph.D in Economics from University of Michigan in 2002. Worked at Coordination Bureau, Research Bureau, Minister’s Secretariat and Economic and Social Research Institute. Seconded to IIPS 2007.

Toshihisa Takeuchi
University of Tokyo, Law Department. Joined the Bank of Japan in 1986. Received MA(International Development Economics) from Yale University in 1992. Director of Secretariat of the Policy Board, Director of Deposit Insurance Corporation of Japan Financial Planning Division, and the Bank seconded to IIPS in 2007.

Katsuhiro Mitsunaga
The University of Tokyo,Faculty of Economics. Joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Coporation (NTT-EAST) on 1987. Worked for Branch of Tokyo,Corporate Strategy Planning Department,Branch of Niigata. Seconded to IIPS in 2007.

Takeshi Yamamoto, Lieutenant Colonel
Graduated National Defense Academy (NDA) in 1988 and commissioned as a military police officer of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. After graduating the Command and Staff Course at CGSC, assumed position of commanding officer of 303rd MP Company and worked at the Ground Staff Office and Kodaira School. Seconded to IIPS in 2008 after having completed a course at the Graduate School of Security Studies at the NDA.
