"This year the IIPS will celebrate its 10th anniversary. In addition to stand-alone and joint research in the traditional areas of foreign relations, security, the international economy, and education, as well as recommending directions for Japan's institutional and other reform, we are recently according greater focus on globalization and the information revolution.
"This site provides an important new window of communication for the IIPS in addition to the conventional channels of symposia and seminars, our occasional papers, journals, and other publications. Through a growing network of links, we look forward to providing a focal point for interdisciplinary dialogue among people from government, academia, and business, both in and out of Japan.
